E-mail notifications for saved searches have stopped coming

Hello.....A couple weeks ago, at the account of a family member of mine who shares my computer suddently stopped receiving e-mail notifications for all of his saved searches on eBay. Then a few or several days later, the exact same thing happened to my own account! It's quite disastrous for both of us. We've each tried to go to our saved searches page on eBay to try to "refresh" or re-submit our saved searches, but very unfortunately to no avail. So what, if anything whatsoever, could we try to do about it now? PLEASE HELP, any attempts to help will be tremendously appreciated...thank you.

Or there aren't enough of them and this glitch is number 752 on the todo list.

WHAT! Well, I guess that means I don't list anything for 3 months and that i will probably not buy much either. This is MAJOR. Why isn't this known all over the place?

...and it didn't start Oct. 16. It started over 3 weeks ago. The information one gets from eBay is always suspect. It's like they don't even try to tell the truth, just blame the user or put you off in some fashion. They are like a country unto themselves...

This has been going on and off for a couple of years...we may have to face the fact that they don't know how to fix it!

Totally agree.
They send out other emails all the time so it cant be that hard to send out one telling us about this!!

For the last week or two it is working again and I’ve received my “saved search” emails. Hope it stays that way!

As of now there is no solution because eBay refuses to admit it is their problem and tells everyone who contacts them it is something wrong with the member's email that isn't letting the new listing emails through.
Since March when many of us began having the problem, I have tried everything possible at my end with zero success. eBay claims they are sending them to me, but refuses to offer any proof like which items they sent emails about on any given day or even a single copy of any such email.
When asked why all the other emails about watched auctions ending, items bought or shipped, etc. do get through, they simply don't reply. When I kept calling them on that, they refused to answer any more Facebook messages and phone calls met with no results.

I don't know if this is bull**bleep** or not but that's what I've been told.
They also told me to clear my cache and cookies...... So take this with a grain of salt.
When I called the first time, I was told the same thing.
When July came and went, I called again and was told they were not aware there was - or ever had been - such a problem! Apparently, the phone CS agents are allowed to use whatever lie gets you off the phone the quickest!

We've already tried what you suggested, which was to check the "General E-mail Promotions" option in "Promotions & Surveys" section of communication/notification preferences, but to no avail. We also tried re-clicking on the "Save" button for our saved searches under "Buyer" in communication/notification preferences, but that hasn't helped at all either, very unfortunately.
Sadly, there is nothing you can do because the emails simply aren't being sent. If you don't buy this, PM them on their Facebook page and ask for a list of the emails sent the previous day. They won't do it because they know they can't.

They don't monitor because they couldn't care less about our problems. My guess is that for every member who gives up and quits because of these unresolved technical issues, there's another who joins so the big wigs never even notice the employees aren't doing their jobs.
