I have many new, shrink wrapped vinyl records that have no UPC code on them (old enough to predate UPC being used on records).
I used to be able to list these, leaving the UPC field blank, even though it was listed as required. There is no option to select there is no UPC.
However, E-Bay has changed their code and now a UPC is required, so I have no way to even list these items because E-Bay will report an error with the listing.
To work around this, I have been scanning the barcode off a pack of o-rings for every single listing I make where the vinyl record is new and has no UPC. I guess anyone searching for these o-rings by UPC is going to get records in their search results.
You have one job E-Bay coders! Quit breaking stuff and fix your code!
