Disappearing "reply with offer" button

The "Reply with Offer" button is disappearing after the initial exchange in messages.  Just had a sale that almost wasn't a sale because the button had disappeared after my response to a low offer that the buyer was willing to come up on.  I ended up ending the listing entirely and changing the offer settings when I went to relist so the buyer could complete the purchase.  This is not a good work around.  Please correct whatever is causing the button to disappear.  We can't revise listings when active offers are out.

The button does not disappear unless the buyer becomes ineligible to receive an offer. For example, if an offer was already sent to them via seller initiated offer, plus several other factors.

It did disappear, thus my post here.  In the messaging on the app, and then on the full site on my laptop, the button straight up disappeared.   Not only was the buyer eligible, I wanted to "reply with offer".  The customer service agent I spoke with said she'd gotten several calls about similar issues with messaging today.  I'm posting here, rather than on the selling board, so that others can share their issues as well.

This issue is ongoing.  Just had another one.  Please fix this.  The option shows in the message to seller, but disappears as soon as it's clicked on.

Facing the same issue.  Have possibly lost a sale due to this glitch.  I can't understand what eBay is doing that would cause this to happen...  On the line with customer service and they did not even understand what I was talking about at first (not their fault).  It's a very weird but unacceptable glitch.

Sorry I missed the replies on this before now. I'm not fully understanding. From where is the "reply with offer" disappearing? Are you referring to email copies since that's the screenshot you posted?

With the old format that "reply with offer" button existed on the first message and no others. Same applied to email.

With the new format email operates the same, "reply with offer" only appears on the buyer's first message and you can always find the button by going back to that original email, however on the top of your messages page you should see the "send offer" button is sticky and available even past the first message exchange.

The only time I've seen the above pictured "send offer" button disappear is when there was a situation that made the buyer ineligible to receive the offer, like perhaps while messaging a Seller Initiated Offer was sent to all eligible buyers.
