Here we go again...
Dashboard says 808 listings, store front says 779. There are only 13 pages of listings with 60 listings per page which means 29 listings are, in fact, off in the ephemera again. Will someone please tell me, and all of us, how we can keep our listings from disappearing??

I had that same issue; I figured out why I had a discrepancy between seller hub active listings vs store listings.
It appeared eBay was hiding a bunch of my listings that where 6 months old or more.
I found this out by ending them and relisting (sell similar) my count in store vs active listings now jives.
I reported this issue last year CS claimed to open a ticket, waited for eBay to do something, they did nada. I had to be proactive and find out where the problem was myself.

Any quantity listings? That would change the number.

Hi @tarotfindsandmore . You may be interested in this recent thread from @ebooksdiva . Perhaps you could hop on there and let us know whether you're able to replicate her results?

No, I don't sell anything in quantities.

I've gone through the whole rigamarole with this issue, again, for the past 2.5 hours. I've posted about it previously as it's been going on since at least July. Like the arthritis in my hands, it just seems to flare and abate in an endless cycle. I sell 2 things, my store number drops by 5, I sell 5 things, my store number drops by 10. I list every day, either brand new items or end listings that are about to end and sell similar them, so I never have stale items.
This is just another one of those glitches that eBay either will not or cannot seem to get fixed. I can add this info to the other thread, but I'm just hoping someone will see that it is still happening to more than one of us. We don't need customer service, we need tech support.
ETA: Today's "end and sell similar" session was done after the discrepancy widened from yesterday and the day before.

Click the ? icon on the bottom of your store or listings page and report it. The more people filing tech reports, the more likely eBay is to pay attention.
Did you verify if it's just the number display that's off, or if the actual amount of listings showing is wrong?
It sounds (if I'm not misunderstanding) from your original post as if you said the actual amount of listings showing is wrong - is that correct?
My numbers never match, but I use a lot of variation listings so it's never been worth my time to try and puzzle it out.

You'll see in the screen shots in my original post that it is the actual number that is off. The first shot is my dashboard (808). The second is my store (779). The last one is the number of pages of listings (13), which proves there are no less than 28 listings missing (13 x 60 = 780). I've spoken to two separate CS agents who claimed they were reporting the issue, but I will take your suggestion and report the problem through my page as well.

The oldest listing in my store is 27 days and a few hours. I end and sell similar every morning to avoid the stale listing problem as this has been going on for at least six months.

I saw that after I posted - I missed the pagination snippet in your 3rd screenshot.
I also took a look at your listings and verified there are 13 pages with 60 items per page and if I adjust the URL to try and force page 14, it just loads page 13 results.
Items are definitely missing if one were to browse through all 13 pages.
I wonder which items specifically are missing. My guess is they may still be appear if search terms or filters are used to narrow things down, but it would be impossible to test without knowing which items we're looking for.
Based on your number of listings that'd be hard for you to determine, but if we go with ebooksdiva's theory we can test something.
When I sort by "newly listed" your oldest listing appearing in search is item 186869704539
If you go to seller hub and sort by listing date - is that actually your oldest listing or do you have 29 older listings?
That would allow us to rule in/out ebooksdiva's results as applying to your account.

I searched for old listings by start date.

There are a couple older ones but they're visible in the store. I did find some duplicates in my seller hub dashboard just now though. I removed them and the store number has dropped in conjunction with the dashboard number. I think I'm about done with this rubbish for the day. I'll see what new numbers eBay decides to display in the morning and go from there.

Using start date, my oldest listing began on Jan 2, 2025 at 4:17am PST. I'll end and sell similar the ones that started that day and see what happens.

Well now I'm down to 750...748...if this keeps up I'll have no listings at all by morning LOL! I think it is time to step away from this little project and see if the system corrects itself.

I woke up to 2 new sales and 401 items listed. After printing the 2 shipping labels, I am down to 367 listings and dropping, all within the last hour! This, with the recent elimination of the "Ending Today" option have me confused. I will update if a solution appears. Let's hope that this is a glitch that reverses!
