Some store screens aren't visible using dark mode with Edge & Win 11. There is also some kind of fluttering going on under image previews. This screen is what I see on some stores. No pics under dark mode.

Since eBay doesn't offer dark mode for their website (only for the app), the site does not always display correctly when dark mode is forced by browser settings or add-ons.
It's possible your browser needs to be updated, or that it just underwent an update which isn't playing well with eBay.
Are you having the same problem when you switch the browser to light mode?

Everything is updated. (Old computer techie, and I mean old...) The glaring colors on eBay hurts my eyes, so I prefer dark mode.
I can change back to light mode, and it doesn't happen, but I can't stand the glaring colors of light mode.
Wish eBay would spend time making the whole site compatible with dark mode if they want to fix something....😂

The number of Ebayers who would put dark mode high on their wish list is probably small enough that Ebay will treat it as a high priority task.
It should be a short wait until it appears, unless this thread causes a surge in requests for dark mode.

I prefer dark mode, also. If your browser was very recently updated you may need to wait for eBay to push out more updates and hope for compatibility, and in the meantime either suffer with light mode, try dark mode on a different browser, or use the eBay app which has a built in dark mode. I know none of those options are ideal.

I was working on this today. I got a new wider computer screen and it is too much glaring white for my eyes. Dark mode looks terrible and the pictures aren't visible. There are 3 people right here who have this on their wish list!

This forum is so full of requests for dark mode I created a macro a while ago so I can quickly reply to those posts - you can find it below.

This is a common request. I prefer dark mode myself.
Here on the forums there is a dark mode option in your profile settings.
On the eBay app there is a dark mode.
On the website? No dark mode available. I've seen some people force it with browser add-ons, but going that route can lead to unintended problems with page view.
In case you want to explore a tested option, I'm going to quote a post from @eburtonlab, one of the resident "tech experts" on this forum:
If you use a common desktop browser, take a look at an add-on called Color Changer. It allows you to set background, text and link colors independently using a color wheel, it remembers your default on/off settings for each site, and it allows you to turn it on or off with a couple of clicks using an icon in your browser toolbar. It does have a few unintended side effects -- some icons like the notification bell lose their color, and some images in pop-up windows are affected adversely -- but if harsh white backgrounds are bothering your eyes, Color Changer might be worth playing with.

Probably young techies and these bright colors don't affect their eyes as much. 👀
I have Dark mode incompatibly on other sites as well, so it's not only eBay's site.
If I can't see what I'm looking at, I move on to the next thing. 😎

So how about everyone reading this that uses dark mode give a shout out for better compatibility. Just a quick request for improvement to it.

I have many eye issues and this big screen is nice, as I can see everything without scrolling right or left and can increase the font with no problems, but it is glaringly white on both sides!
