For some reason, nothing seems to work for searching on the custom label field except the "exact" sku.

We have over 3500 items and our SKU is built on location, investment, and UPC so that when we pull our items, we know where they are and we know the UPC without having to go into the individual item.

We have tried searching with the location part of our SKU, with ( ), " ", and just the location and it no longer works. Last week, this worked fine.

Has this changed? If so, what's the point of a SKU if you can only use it for one reason??

Send an email, from ypour registered email account, to turbodata@ebay.com. That is the Advanced Apps team. If the Search team are different players, the Advanced Apps team may forward your email to them.

Be sure to include your userid and as complete of a description of the issue as possible.

PS. Others here use SKUs (me, me, oh, me). Any answers you obtain could be useful to others. Pls undate this thread with any results you get.

We will do that. We discovered that is we only put a number in the search field it works. But for us we use location such as 19B and the letter. Umber combo doesn't seem to work any more. I'll keep you posted.

Still no help on this issue. Letter and number combinations will not find anything despite it being recorded in the CL field that way. (Ie 04B finds nothing. 04 finds it but also finds every other 04 Location (ie 04A Or anything with 4 in the field). Frustrated!

any updates on this?? I am wanted to search custom label thru seller hub actives...numbers only.. and then they seem to be singular digit search - not combined.. like 123. Help?

No updates, no changed. I can search numbers and I can search letters but I can't search numbers and letter (i.e 17e gives me nothing). Been waiting for over a year now...
