How can users make sure eBay does not keep them signed in when their browser session closes? I have "Keep me signed in" disabled under Site Preferences and attempt to deselect "Stay signed in" on every login dialog, but signinalert usually showed orphaned/zombie sessions when I was able to check. Now that eBay has 404ed signinalert with no replacement, it is doubly crucial to ensure that orphaned sessions are not created for fraudsters to hijack.
Can we please have a secure login dialog to bookmark that does NOT autoselect "Stay signed in"? Can we please have an option to time out orphaned sessions if not preclude them entirely?
What is the purpose of maintaining abandoned sessions without the users' knowledge or consent, then concealing from users what sessions eBay may be maintaining? Why can't users opt to automatically sign out?

Well Angry, eBay has said to check with them to end orphan sessions. I would do so regularly. Yes, it is a time waster for you, and them. They will see the need to provide some method for members to keep up with their own sessions (rumor has it that they are already planning this). Until any new function is available....

I'm glad to see others concerned about this important security issue. I'm paranoid about open orphaned sessions and just where my account is signed in at. I started a thread about a couple weeks back. I would use the now gone devices where you're signed in link every day.
