Convoluted Mess w/offers. Unable to Send Invoice or Communicate

Again having issues with offers. I suspect this may have happened multiple times because I have a lot of non-payers (from people who have 100% feedback) in the last month).

 

Step by step:

 

1. Buyer sends offer: Appears on Phone App

 

2: I accept offer: No confirmation of sold item. 

Here on moved to Desktop

 

3. When at "Overview" in Seller Hub. No item "Awaiting Payment"

 

4. Search Active Listings: Said item still appears in Active listings

 

5. Choosing "Review Offers" yields "Pending" for my accepted offer.

 

6.  Selected "Contact Buyer" From Offers Page. No Item populates

 

7.   Entering won item in the "Item" Field  and selecting "continue" opens messaging app to nothing. The app is simply opened. No populated message form to send to buyer/offer winner.

 

8. Returning to message buyer and selecting "This is not about an item" opens messaging App and properly populates name.

I will contact them via this manner but the process is broken.

 

Symlink issue? Lost data child issue? Who knows. It's broken.

Offers are not sold until the buyer pays.

 

It is not awaiting payment either. Listings stay live until someone buys it, through the offer or not.

 

Buyers are notified that the offer is accepted. There is no reason to send an invoice.

They've changed how offers are done.

The item is no longer taken down, it stays active until someone pays for it.

Even though you accepted the buyers offer, someone else can still buy it.

I know you guys are tryingto be helpful but I truly understand how offers work. This is broken.  Either broken in the way it is supposed to work or broken in the way it's not supposed to work.

 

I do know they changed offers but I accepted their offer not them accepting my offer and on my end my account never has that offer going astray.  But yes, it does still show active until paid.

 

As far as they are "awaiting payment" when offer is accepted, please see this attached image to show how they work, at least in my account. The "awaiting payment" on this screen? It's an accepted offer.  So, yes, that is how it works. It may be different in your account but it has always worked this way EXCEPT for 2 of my orders and one of them was a woman that I accepted multiple offers from and we were talking back and forth because she wanted me to send an invoice for them. I had accepted 3 offers and only 2 of them were showing as awaiting payment.

Besides all of that being explained in detail here nothing can explain why the messaging app would open when contacting the buyer to be populated with nothing, as if he never sent an offer and I never accepted.

Just wanted to post another pic of the order that is "Awaiting Payment" so you don't think I have just lost my mind and that couldn't have been an accepted offer.
You can see that the bucket is still listed and what price it is, comparing it to the bucket's price on this page is an offer amountbucket.jpg
