Clicking "Add to watchlist" no longer updates the page with a "Saved in your Watchlist" banner

Previously clicking "Add to watchlist" would update the page with a blue banner at the top. This isn't happening today -- the banner only appears when the page is refreshed.

The behavior is the same with Chrome and Firefox.

Yes, THIS IS A HUGE Problem ! The Banner is NOT showing up even when you refresh the page. For someone like my husband who does 1000's of dollars of purchasing on eBay and puts LOTS of items into his many different watchlists  to not have this banner pop up is going to make him not shop on eBay. 

I know that when you guys are working on another part of the website this can mess up another part of it, but this needs to be addressed SOON !!

I'll be looking forward to a reply from the tech dept.

I didn't realize the original post was from a year ago, BUT this issue IS Happening now.
