Try this: Under My Ebay, go to Account when menu drops down,hit site preferences. At bottom of page see if says yes on keep me signed in.  Worked on my desktop computer.

The new sign in page is apparently causing problems for some folks; most of them seem to be using Microsoft Edge or Explorer browsers. The "keep me signed in" box on the sign-in page does not seem to function correctly.

There is another "keep me signed in on this computer" checkbox in your Account: Site Preferences: Other General Preferences. Check that box and hit "Apply". It seems to work for some people.

If the box is already checked, uncheck it, "Apply", sign out, sign back in, and recheck it, then hit "Apply" again.

I am having the same problem and been having it for over a week now.  I have a shortcut on my pc desk top that use to take me directly to "My Ebay Summery".  Now it takes me to the annoying "sign in page".  So, I sign in and check the "stay signed in " box and it doesn't work.  I am really getting sick of all the changes ebay keeps making that make things worse.  Why should it be necessary to re- sign in each time during the day I wish to check in.  I have been with Ebay for many years but am spending much less time here because they insist on constantly screwing things up.l

Thank you I followed your suggestion and did the work around. It seems to have worked. We'll see if it will continue to work tomorrow

Well it is always nice when ebay changes your preferences with out asking or telling you first. Even though I had that option enabled in the past it was turned off. After I turned it on using edge I was able to stay logged in even after closing my browser. However after I signed out it reverted that setting back to off. If you are using a work or friends computer to access your account when not at home and sign off on their  computer. Then when you get back home you will need to sign in then go to the preferences and turn back on the stay signed in option.

Yes it did uncheck the box in preferences. Rechecked it but it continues to uncheck it. Hopefully eBay will fix this problem. Ugh...what a pain!

Not sure if this is the same as everyone else or not......  I get the sign in page with id but no password....which my browser used to automatically fill in, but no longer does on this new sign in.    (firefox)  Been too lazy to try to fix it.

I did find out that if I click sign in with no password, I get the "the password is incorrect, or whatever it says"......but the password fills in, lol, so I just click sign in again......and goes thru fine.......

Sounds like every time you explicitly sign out the box on the preference page resets.

Or eBay may still be fiddling with the sign-in page to try to fix things, which may be causing new problems.

Either don't sign out, or bookmark that preference page and go back every time you start a new session until eBay fixes the sign-in page.

Or switch to Firefox or Chrome until then.
