Checking out problems

Does anyone else is having trouble checking out today? I´ve been trying three days and with three different credit cards and there is no way to make any purchase today...

 

The problem is that I need this material to be shipped as soon as possible, but it seems nobody is listening or trying to fix this... it has been very frustrating to make any purchase today...

Thank you for this information. 

 

I already changed my country to the US where I´m actually living, but still appearing this same message every time I try to buy any article: "Your payment didn't go through. Please check your payment details or select a different payment option."

 

Regardless if I´m using an American Credit Card (AMEX) with US Bank Account (Chase) and my address here in Texas, changed my region, is the same message every time. Is there any problem with eBay or new restrictions? I also tried to chat with someone but the chat is turned off... what´s going on with these guys? 

 

I have more than a week trying to buy some stuff but the message continue the same, trying many options, different servers, browsers, credit cards, is the same...

I see your registration location shows as the US now, so it would seem that was not the problem after all. Sorry to hear that did not prove helpful. It sounds like a very frustrating situation.

 

You appear to be entering your credit card number during checkout.

 

Are you able to add your Amex card directly to your PayPal account, then choose PayPal at checkout, select that card and pay that way? If nothing else, adding your card to your PayPal account might indicate if there is an issue between PayPal and the card -- perhaps PayPal will provide a more detailed message than "enter your card details again".

 

If that does not work, I think the next step would be to try to pay with a PayPal balance. At least that is what I would try if I were having the same issue.

 

I have run into a few sellers that I was not able to complete the transaction using my preferred payment method -- I suspect the problem may have been on the seller's end, but there was no real way to be sure.

Apparently something as simple as a mismatch between including the middle initial in a name can cause that "check your card details" error.
