Hello, I recently received this message on my direct deposit screen, I have no idea what the charge is for and I’ve never heard of it. eBay left no message about it so I’m pretty confused. help!
”Ebay Combovskmmr Payments” was the name of the charge

I see you have sold 4 items
Could the charge possibly be your selling fees you owe to eBay?

For everything I have sold, eBay has taken shipping and their fees out before I received my funds so I don’t think that’s possible

Never mind found the issue, for some reason it didn’t take the money from the buyer for the shipping label I guess? So I was charged

If the buyer paid for the item purchased, then his payment would've included payment for shipping, unless you offer F/S, in which case, the shipping fee should've been included in your price.

It says right here that the buyer paid for shipping yet they charged me?

Yes, that's how it works.
The buyer pays for the shipping, that money is included in the money sent to you, so that you can use it to buy the shipping label.

Buyer pays eBay item + shipping + sales tax.
eBay takes selling fees on that total amount.
eBay remits sales tax to buyer's state.
eBay sends the balance item + shipping (less fees) to the seller.
Seller uses the funds to buy a shipping label.
eBay gave you the buyer's shipping money after taking out their fees so you can use it to purchase the label. View your transaction details here:
