I bought a product and seller specified no returns
Seller did not send the right product
I gave negative feedback as I was prohibited from starting a return
Seller wanted me to change the feedback so he refunded the money
I was allowed a "follow up comment" in feedback, but could not change feedback
Buyer and Seller cannot get the site to give us access to the "Revision" tab
The negative feedback still shows up, but not the follow up and the negative feedback remains
How do we fix this?

A dialogue box said the seller does not allow returns.
A seller can choose whether to accept remorse returns, but the seller cannot avoid a refund for an item that is "not as described". eBay will force the seller to refund the buyer with or without a return, provided the buyer files the right case within the allowed time-frame and asks eBay to step in after the seller fails to cooperate.

How were you prohibited from starting a return?
A sellers no returns policy is always overturned by eBays Money Back Guarantee.
This is how it works…
You go to your purchase history, click the drop down menu it will either say RETURN THIS ITEM or MORE ACTIONS. If it says More Actions click that and click return this item.
Next click doesn’t match pictures or description.
You may be required to upload a picture, after that you can click submit, complete or whatever the that button says. The seller would be responsible for return shipping in a Not as described case.
Your seller has 2 days to issue a return label or refund, if by day 3 you don’t receive a return label or refund. You can go back to the case and that’s when you can ask eBay to step in.
Since the seller refunded you you can use the above the next time you encounter this problem.
As for the negative feedback you left for the seller, he/she would need to send you a feedback revision request.
Good luck.

Changing a feedback...revisions...can be done in 30 days and that's it. Whether the buyer wants to change it after 31 days you cannot. I have been there. My buyer wasn't to change feedback and couldn't.

On eBay, there is no such thing as "no returns" if/when a buyer receives an item that's not as described.
Please read the Money Back Guarantee.
Also, paying you to change FB to a positive isn't allowed either.
If a buyer agrees to change FB (but not like you're telling us), the seller can send him a FB Revision Request form.

1) A dialogue box said the seller does not allow returns. Further action was prevented as the options were light gray and nonresponsive to commands
2) Seller experiences the same thing trying to use the revision feature

Sorry, but the ad specifies seller does not accept returns AND the feature did not allow me to complete a return form due to that specification. Whatever you think you know, it didn't work out that way on this transaction. Ad specified Seller does not accept returns. The tab for returns was light gray and prevented me from going further.

BTW, nobody is paying me to change my feedback.

Seller canceled the transaction and my follow up comments are not a part of the feedback. I have told him to request a revision form from Ebay. This is just WAAAAYYY too complicated. I just want to help him get a negative review removed. This doesn't seem to be an option. Ebay should not have allowed him to say no returns in the ad.

That's only for remorse returns.
When you receive a different item, that isn't a remorse return and you are covered by the MBG.
Did you try this:
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

There was no need to do all that other stuff. The seller immediately made the transaction right the moment he found out I left a negative review. Is there any way to word this that it is understandable? NONE of the "solutions" so far address what I'm trying to accomplish. Ebay should simply allow people to make one feedback change per item purchased. This is nuts.
