Unable to upload pics.
Geting error: ERROR: HTTP Error code 99 socket code 0
Can someone kindly add this to the to do list?

Well the problem still exists. I use a listing program. So off site I get my items pictured and ready to go. Took almost a hour trying to upload the listing pictures to the ebay servers. Could someone who has WAY more tech knowledge see if there has been a change to the API? Using the same program, it now will update my listings, then falls flat on its face, and low and behold it then makes the connection and continues.
I have check with my ISP. Its not my equipment, but its the server changes ebay has made. They are now using FASTLY, Inc, and before it was Akami Technologies, Inc.
It appears that when one is trying to upload the pics OR getting updates on their listings, the API code doesnt like it. Could someone please check this out?

Still unable to update my auction lots. Its reaching out to the API server, but I am getting no response back.

I, too, am having this problem both on uploading listings and downloading auction updates! I am using Auction Wizard 2000 listing software. I am almost certain that it is on ebay's end.
It has been going on for the past 1-2 weeks. Generally, it will start a process and then stall until it times out and I get the "Http error code 99 socket 0" error message.
Hope this can be remedied soon. Doing this manually is taking up valuable listing time!

**UPDATE**
I have two selling IDs. It is now more or less working on one of them but on the other, it is not working at all.
Not sure what to make of that but passing it on in case it helps solve the issue.
Based on bigw1231's post, I would GUESS that one account is still on Akami Technologies, Inc and the other (the one not working) has been transitioned to FASTLY, Inc???

Well here is what I tried, and I too am using the AW2000. I ftp my pics to photoblat, only as a backup to the ebay pics. Then when AW2000 tries to send the pics to the EPS, it fails. At first, I thought it was comcast business. So I took my PC home, and still failed, and its using different routing, although on comcast, its on the residential side. So then I took my pc to a buddies who has AT&T. Figuring is it Comcast? Well falls flat on AT&T as well. So that rules out the ISP's . So then I looked at the tracert command from DOS, and BINGO, its on ebays end and its with their EPS. (ebay picture service). So those of us who use desktops might have some hope as this is becoming a bigger problem baased on the posts.

I was able to get some listed. For me the trick (using AW2000) was to do 10 or less listings at a time. If the first pic failed to load, change the status to never listed. Try the queued lots again.
Be forwarned....I was doing this for 5 hours last night. I was able to get some of my listings up. Now another glitch is before the issue, to the left of the main or gallery pic, there would be the other images of the item. THey are no longer showing up.

I could be wrong, but the two tech companies they seem to be using are the ones you mentioned. The fastly one seems to be more stable. See my reply about how with AW2000 I was able to get some listings up!

Still having the issues, and still not made it on the current issues. Guess it not effecting enough sellers.

Thank you for all of your efforts, bigw1231! With your help, mine is now working 😊
