This just started over the last 24hrs.

Have this problem the last few days with the delete button on each individual item last few days. They will delete if I check the item and go to the delete button at the top of the page.

If you are having problems deleting watch list items from your Summary page, try using the checkbox in front of the item and the "delete" button at the top of the list rather than the "delete item" link that appears when you hover your cursor over the item, as the previous poster has said.
There does seem to be a problem with those "delete item" links -- I was not able to get them to work in any browser this morning. Not sure when that problem started; I had not noticed it until recently.

This was very helpful, thanks! Works like normal from android app, but web page gave me issues. This solution has me updating from web page, which is what I use more often, as opposed to logging into my phone just to delete watched items list.

Same here, this has gone on now for years and stupid eBay still has not fixed it. It says "javascript" and is frozen and can't be deleted unless you check the boxes. I tried different browsers as well since eBay keeps updating and changing stuff stupidly that does not need to be changed and making eBay worse every year and almost unusable now whoever is doing this **bleep** needs to be canned. In the past this same issue came up many times then it worked, then it didn't and repeat. Also checking the boxes does not work either a lot of times and you get a green error messages to "try again later" and then you have to have to refresh the page and then it works. Pretty soon they should just change their name to eTrash.

I'm just now reading about the delete problem others have written about in early February (I know this issue surfaced periodically too). Here we are weeks later and I'm still having the same issue tonight. Javascript message appears if anything at all.
Checking the box then hitting delete button works. That's not the point. This is another clear example of Ebay's failure to support its customers. Time and time again I've had various issues: some innocent or annoying, others flag loudly as potential issues. I don't take the time to address every event. Choose my battles. Besides, Ebay routinely can only apologize. They tout advice to improve sales, make better listings, etc. I know, Ebay why not tell your customers about the improvements you're addressing to improve your platform, your business model? Don't believe it's needed? Not necessary?
Well, I see less and less activity on Ebay. At the same time, they offer additional free listings each month - sometimes multiple times. There's a reason folks. They are losing! Other companies continue to strip away their market share.
I'm just an average Joe selling various items. I do it for fun, to make a couple dollars, and to avoid throwing out good stuff. I cannot imagine how difficult it is for those whose livelihoods are based here. Good luck to all.

Hi. You can try the steps in this article:
I just tried those steps again as I had to remove items on my Watch List too. (I'm using Google Chrome, on a laptop, with the steps I wrote there. Thought I'd share. 🙂
Good luck and I hope it helps. 🙂

Same issue, started a week or so ago for me. I think it may be an issue with Chrome if that's what you're using. At the same time, I've had it happen on javascript links on several websites. I'm guessing that a chrome update broke some javascript link compatibility.

Same issue here. It's not a browser specific issue, it's simply an eBay issue. I can't use the "Delete Item" that's part of the item description. I have three different computers that I use, one using Firefox, one using Edge, and I even tried using another old computer with Internet Explorer. It just doesn't work. Yes, you can use the checkbox on the left and then scroll to the top or bottom and hit 'delete'. That's on top of another issue that shouldn't be one. The "Delete item" and "Add a note" should always be visible. I shouldn't have to run my mouse pointer all over the page looking to see what pops up. It's the result of video gamers designing our software nowadays. They're used to trying to find things that are hidden. As a result, we're all dragging our mouse pointers around our screens trying to find functions that should be visible...all of the time. Ugh.

It's now May and I'm having this issue. Have they STILL not fixed it?

Have they STILL not fixed it?
Apparently not. Likely it is not a priority since there are so many other ways to delete items from your Watch List.
