Nothing works when trying to delete items on watchlist...whether its ended or not, whether you check at top or bottom or individually...nothing works to delete an item on watchlist..annoying and frustrating...often the item does not contain pertinet info so you have to view it each time and realize ,oh,right this holster (for example )is for 38caliber only...firefox and safari doesn't matter either browser deleting doesn't work...243william

Try disabling your ad blocker to see if that makes a difference.
If not, try deleting those Watch List items from the Watch List section of your "All Buying" page here:
https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta¤tpage=MyeBayNextAllBuying
Alternatively, you could also try deleting those items directly from the item page or using the eBay app.
Note that there is a problem with the "All Lists" page -- currently items deleted from that page are not being deleted; try deleting using a different list page if you use the "All Lists" page to keep track of items.

Thnks eburtonlab, the All Buying section allowed me to manually delete items from my watchlist.
This is after the main landing page failed to delete them, the app also failed to delete them, no ad block & tried on various systems/ locations/ isps.
The failure of basic features erodes the built up trust in eBay somedays.

Are you sure you are trying to delete the items on your Watch List page? This page:
https://www.ebay.com/myb/WatchList
Currently there are problems with a different page, the old "All Lists" page:
Specifically, Watch List items deleted from the All Lists page are not being deleted from the All Lists page. If you are using the All Lists page, do not delete items directly from that list page; instead, try deleting (non-Watch List) items from the individual lists instead.
For Watch List items that cannot be deleted, try deleting those items from this "All Buying" page instead:
https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta¤tpage=MyeBayNextAllBuying
If the Watch List item you want to delete does not appear on that page, try adding the item to your Watch List again, refresh the "All Buying" page and then delete the item from the "All Buying" page.

Correction -- the second link in my previous post, for the "All Lists" page is wrong; unfortunately the edit time has expired.
Here is the correct "All Lists" link:
Do not use that page to delete items from your Watch List; use the old "All Buying" page instead.

NOW, in April of 2022, ebay has modified our watch lists again; making it even more difficult to delete a watched item, ESPECIALLY if you have made a bid or bids on the item. It's like losing a pesky bee or wasp. It won't leave. Once I've bid, I can't delete. It shows up again. If ebay FINALLY wants to fix the watch list, I WANT TO DECIDE when I'm done watching and want it to be removed. I purchase MANY items and organize what I'm looking at by losing what I'm done with. PLEASE get this right, ebay!!!!!!!!

What browser are you using? Type and version number? See if there is an update available for it.
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
You should be able to delete items from your Watch List as long as you are using the most recent version of your browser available. If you are using a very old operating system, which one?
Anything odd about your browser or network? Are you blocking scripts?
Try deleting watch list items from the item listing, the watch list page, the summary page or using the eBay app. One of those should work for you.

So now all of the sudden I can delete items again after months and not being able to, and I did not make any changes. Meaning, my "browser" had nothing do with it as usual, and it is always eBay and their **bleep** bugs as usual.
