Cannot pay for my item

I cannot pay for an item.  I click pay and the transaction appears to be successful and 5 minutes later I get an email stating a problem was found with transaction.  Tried two different methods of payment and still not working.

eBay confirmed that an issue exists but did not bother alerting customers- Very poor customer experience.  It was also shared that it could take up to 10 days to resolve and I should try again tomorrow.  They have escalated but they cannot provide me with any updates.

The issue arises as soon as you try to buy something from a seller not enrolled in eBay's managed payments. eBay is doing nothing about it.
