I have an iPad mini running iOS 14.4.2. Because the download today should no photos I deleted the app. then reset my iPad. Returning to the App Store, and selecting “eBay for iPad” it didn’t give me an option for download but just showed “Open”, even though it isn’t on my iPad anymore.

How can I resolve this, please?

For eBay iOS app issues, you may want to post on the iOS app board; there are eBay folks that read and respond there who can address app issues:

It sounds like the eBay app was not completely deleted; try using your device manager to see what apps are installed, and if eBay appears on the list, try deleting the app again. Then restart the device and try to install the eBay app from the App Store.

Thanks for your advice. The eBay app is not listed anywhere on my iPad, though if I use “Search” a ghost image of th app appears. I have transferred this to my iPad in the Hope that when a new update appears I can try downloading that. On the App Store, eBay still just shows “Open” which obviously doesn’t do anything.
