Cannot delete messages from a specific person in inbox

Hello everyone. I have a couple of messages from this one buyer and I can't seem to delete all of their messages in my inbox. I also have other messages from others and eBay, and I could delete those fine. But every time I try to delete these messages, I get an error saying, "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later". I have attached a picture of the error in red.

That is an odd problem. Can see no reason why there would be an issue with deleting any messages from members, so must be the bug of the day.

If you are checking the boxes on multiple messages for deletion and the error occurs, try deleting them one at a time.

Maybe try moving them to another folder (create one if necessary) and then see if you can delete them.

Logging out of eBay, clearing cache and cookies in your browser,, and then trying again after logging back in might be a possibility.

If all else fails, you might have to call eBay CS to have them try to explain why it's happening, or just to have them delete the messages for you.

Thank you very much for your help! I figured it out!

I tried deleting one by one rather than selecting multiple, which didn't work.

Solution: I selected all of the ones that wouldn't delete and moved them into a folder. I then went into the folder and tried deleting them one by one, which didn't work. I then deleted the folder by hovering my cursor next to the folder name on the left side list which then the trash icon appeared. It deleted the folder and I no longer see those messages on my 'All messages'. I then checked the trash and found them there.

Very odd issue this but there is a solution.

I did the same thing. Created a new folder and moved the problem messages to it. Then deleted the folder. Easy fix and no time wasted contacting eBay.
