Cannot Send Messages

I cannot send messages anymore using the Ebay messaging system.  I called Ebay over a month ago about this but nothing came of it.  I was just wondering if other Ebay users are experiencing this same problem?

Nope; just about everyone can use the messages without issue.

That's it!  There's no error msg or anything.  There is no icon or anything that says "Send Msg".  There's nothing.  I don't know if I can even receive messages but I don't receive msg except from Ebay.  What would be helpful if you send me a msg just to see if I can receive a msg.  What gets me this is during Xmas shopping season.  I haven't had any sales  in last 2 weeks since this occurred.  Thanks.

Apparently I can reply through this Ebay Community but not regular Ebay msg system.  Yes, its very strange.

I just talked with Ebay about this & they said other users are also expiencing same problem.  I then asked them if they put in an update that doesn't work, why don'tthey simply roll it back.  No answer to this from Ebay.  Simply irresponsible.

Yes I received it in Ebay but cannot respond to it.

What browser are you using?

When you view a message from a member in your eBay message inbox, do you see a "Send message" button in the lower right corner, with a "Send message" text above it?

If not, try another browser.

Here is what you should see when sending a message to a seller:

If you have eBay messages sent to your email, you can read and respond to your eBay messages via email by replying directly to the emails (using the blue reply button will instead open the message in your eBay message inbox).

But you DID respond to it -- it's right there in my eBay email messages!

Why do you think that you cannot send or receive messages with the eBay messaging (email) system?

Just go to "Messages" -- click on the "member" with whom you wish to send an email.

See the gray oval at the lower right of the screen, where it reads "Send message"?  

Just click on that, and begin writing your email.  When you are finished, click on the paper airplane icon near the right end side of the "Send message" box -- and your message has been sent!

Or are you talking about something entirely different?!?
