Can't respond to messages

Just checked my eBay messages for an item im selling on Jan 1, 2022.

The messages I got were from Dec 30, 2021.

I tried to open them and eBay says I can't respond to the messages after 90 days.

Maybe this is a technical issue that the computer thinks its been a year?

Its only been 2 days though, what can I do?

Is the sender of the message still registered?

If so, you can go to the user's profile or feedback page and compose a new message there using the Contact link.

this happens all the time. I respond go to  the top right with drop down menu and click on messages.
