Can't reply to the seller via the resolution center - keep getting ACCESS DENIED

I'm having the same issue as described in https://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Getting-ACCESS-DENIED-in-Resolution-Center-when-askin... except with clicking on the reply-button rather than the button asking eBay staff to step in.

I've done the expected troubleshooting with different browsers, PC's, clearing cookies etc. and nothing is working.

Upon attempting to send a reply to the seller via the resolution center, I immediately get:

How can I get this resolved in a timely manner?

I notice you are registered in Sweden. Did you make the purchase on ebay.com, or on another site? Resolution Center cases must be pursued on the same site that the purchase was made on.

That said, "Access Denied" errors are generally network-based.

VPNs and Firewalls can cause issues in some cases.

If not, try completing your case using a computer on a different network, such as a phone when not connected to your Wifi.

Long term, for some other things to check, such as whether your IP-address has been blocked by Akamai, see this thread:

Re: Can't reply to the seller via the resolution center - keep getting ACCESS DENIED

Hi,

Yes the purchase was made on ebay.com.

My HTTP- and HTTPS requests to- and from eBay are also not blocked by a firewall or constricted by a VPN. I've already tried troubleshooting on different networks.

My IP also isn't blacklisted by Akamai:

"The IP Address [...] did not receive a bad risk score."

Nothing about my browser or PC setup is unusual or outside the scope of what you'd expect a regular internet user's setup to look like.
