Can't get rid of saved search box

Is anyone else having a problem with not being able to close the saved search box when opening eBay on the website?  Every time I open eBay, it automatically opens up a dialogue box of my last saved search and won't close. I tried clearing my cache and resetting my phone, using a different browser and it still comes up. I can use the app and don't have this problem, but I prefer using the website for most features.

Are you by any chance using the Feed page as your home page? I notice that on that page the drop-down always appears under the search bar when the page loads. You should be able to close it by clicking anywhere else on the page outside the drop-down.

At least that is how it works for me in Firefox and Edge.

Happening to me as well and it’s driving me nuts. I literally can no longer access the main page to perform searches or view my feedback… every time I think I’ve figured a workaround it just comes right back. I now have something like 75 saved searches and there’s no end in sight.

scroll at the way down till you can’t any more

click on “mobile site”

it fixed the problem for me. Hope this helps you.

That does nothing for me. With the "saved search" box showing the entire page is locked up. Click mobile site does nothing. Clicking outside the pop up box does nothing. Site is not accessable as in no shopping. No Buying

Is the problem only on the Feed page? If you start from a different page, are you able to search?

I can use the site as long as I don't sign out.... if i sign out when i sign in the pop up appears... I use old tab to re enter site. Have no Save Searches. Pop up says i do

On an Android phone using Chrome in desktop mode on the feed page, tapping the screen anywhere outside the drop-down box causes the box to go away for me.

Try using a different page as your home page, or a different browser.

I use Firefox on Android phone, desktop mode.  My screen remains locked up, and trying to tap outside the box does nothing, as scrolling does not help me to activate any of the behind-the-window features on the page (the displayed save search window seems to block not only my view, but any on page action other than saving a search.  Which I do not do).

But I still enjoy shopping on eBay.  Enjoying it less than I did before this save search window became a pest.

Try using a different page as your home page, or a different browser. Or a different browser mode (mobile, classic or desktop).
