I can get into my direct store link but can only see page one - hit a category on the left and get this message
This site can’t be reached
cgi6 . ebaystores . com’s server IP address could not be found.
Anybody else having the same issue?

Thank you Brittany.
Just a question: why is this information not communicated to sellers who have stores and why is it not displayed in the manage your store pages? The link you refer to and which works is not available in the manage your store page of the older stores. Basically you were just making it impossible for store owners to change. I am glad that I have a solution but this has cost me besides some frustrated customers about a days work in just trying to find a solution while it should be basic information that each store owner should be able to find in a minutes time. Finding correct information on ebay is as always a nightmare, it is really a reason why I have started selling on other platforms besides ebay as I feel I can less and less rely on ebay to be there for me as a seller. I paid about 80.000$ in fees last year and I often feel treated as garbage by ebay, this is just one more instance of it.

Can anyone tell me, why when I post a reply here, it is putting in a box under my message that says, "sorry this image is currently unavailable".
I am not attempting to add any image, but it is putting that box at the bottom of everyone of my posts.

The box your are referring to is clickable, it goes to your store. Sorry, I don't know how to remove it. Hopefully, someone will come along that can help more.

As you stated earlier, you do NOT have a legacy store.
But you have exposed a problem we have seen in the past.
eBay is showing four different links to your store.
Two links are based on your store name and two are based on your seller name. (Did you change your store name within the past two years?). The store-name links fail while the seller-name links work. So you are seeing a different kind of redirect problem. Those faulty links are appearing in the search page and within your listing page.
A working link appears on your profile page:
1. https://www.ebay.com/str/mcdougle4248
and these working links appear on your feedback page and in your avatar here in the community:
2. https://stores.ebay.com/mcdougle4248
The store icon at the top of search is non-functional for me.
This store icon in the search list:
3. http://stores.ebay.com/Kims-UnCANny-Ornaments
redirects to cgi6, which always converted to lowercase and removed punctuation. But eBay appeared to decommission the cgi6 server a couple of years ago, and had put redirects in place, so not sure why the store URL is redirecting to the cgi6 server:
3b. https://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewStoreV4&name=kimsuncannyornaments&_rdc=1
The text link at the top of your listing:
4. https://www.ebay.com/str/Kims-UnCANny-Ornaments
goes to a "not found" error page.
brittanie@ebay All of these issues have been visited upon us before and were resolved with "redirects". If eBay is phasing out some of the older redirects, then the links within search and listings need to be updated.

Thank you @shipscript for helping. I have changed my store name and I probably did that within the last two years, but I can't remember exactly when I changed the store name. Prior to the name my store has now, it was just my user id mcdougle4248.

@gb58 wrote:Hi mcdougle4248, if you go to the seller hub and rather than looking at the drop down under marketing, click on marketing. That will take you to a page that says, "Manage your marketing activity". Directly under that, it should be your store name, the Http address, and then under that it should have a link that says, "update your store today".
I've not updated my store yet, because I want to make sure things are going to be saved as I want them to be, before committing to the change.
This "update your store today" link however, should take you to the point where you need to go to update. Should you update before I do, please respond back with how the transition to the new format went and if you are happy with the changes.
Thank you! Turns out my problem is not related to legacy stores. I have the current store with link problems.

I click on your user id in this post, which allowed me to click on the store link. That takes me to your store. I clicked on one of your store categories and it reloaded the page correctly. I then typed something into the search box in your store, and that loaded the page correctly also.
Very cool ornaments by the way. I like them!

Thank you! Yes, some links work and some don't. I have the current store, not the legacy store, so I have nothing to update on my end. I will just have to wait for eBay to fix the redirects on the links that are not working.
