Can not EDIT Templates using the Business Tool ...

It has been a couple of days and I have tried Editing some of my Templates but all I get is the SWOD (Spinning Wheel Of Doom).

Anyone else having this issue?  I am wondering if it has something to do with the Item Specific launch scheduled on the 22nd ... I haven't done an troubleshooting yet, just thought to ask here to see if others are having this issue?

Not sure Mr. L, but I have been having issues with the SWOD when uploading photos to new listings the past 2 days.

Well, I suspect it may have to do with the Item Specific roll out ... maybe the issue will clear after that ... not sure.

This has been an issue for at least 2 weeks for me. I have had to use the sell similar option, not the same but at lease I don't have to start from scratch.

Uploaded a few items the other day, none of the templates I tried to make would save, same thing happened.  ended up listing without using templates.  Wasted a good hour, it's getting to the point that ebay isn't worth the time or effort anymore.

I can use my Templates to crate new listings, that part works BUT I cannot change the Template itself, that's what gives me the SWOD ... it's not starting from scratch but it winds up being more work depending on what I am listing ...

There are a few topics on the boards about this problem. I have not been able to save any new templates or save any previous ones that I edit for over a week+. Supposedly they are working on it.....you would think this would be a higher priority.

I opted out of the business policies mess that it made of my shipping settings. It trashed all my shipping on my templates on top of the last item specifics and category "updates". Until this is fixed I can't update my templates to make them usable. Much less work to do sell similar.

This has been going on for weeks, with quite a few complaints here.  Generally I've been getting the doughnut of death, too.  Every once in a while one revision slips through. 

Someone said that they were told "end of the month" - and astutely asked 'end of WHICH month' (I would also ask which year).

No change, just tried to create a New Template and let the SWOD run for over 5 minutes (I went for a cup of coffee LOL).  Nada ...

I know eBay added their Item Specific fields to the Business tool a while back so again, I am pretty confident this is an intentional bock of Sellers' access to certain functions in the listing process, including Templates. 

This inconvenience is going to cost extra work, I have 11 listings from the same category which means I have to create 11 NEW LISTINGS FROM SCRATCH instead of being able to use the Template function to SAVE TIME.

Very disappointed with Home Office at the moment ...

Thanks for posting tyler@ebay  but I am just a bit miffed at this.  The link in your post here takes me to your thread where its just an announcement and has a link to contact CS ... does that mean we have to speak to them and ask them to put our account on the ticket? 

Before posting this reply I noticed there were 6 threads about the Template issues on the first page of The Community.  Seems like the issue might be growing ...

Yes @mr_lincoln - unless your account was previously added in a past contact with CS, that's the most appropriate way to get it added now.
