Hello at no fault to buyer they were charged 2.94 for an 8 ounce usps first class package .. My actual cost was 4.13 .. how did eBay's calculated shipping come up with 2.94 ? .. especially for PR lol

Did you receive an email from USPS?

Was there a difference in weight between the "weight on label" and the "actual weight"?

$2.94 is NOT the correct price for an 8 oz. item- even if shipping next door. Looks like you either did not input the correct weight or the correct shipping type (there is a difference between a 1st Class Envelope and a 1st Class PACKAGE (which you needed to have chosen)- sounds like you used the Envelope.

The weight of the item was correct and the shipping policy I use is for usps first class packages.. I have eBay working on the glitch as Im not the only one its happening to .. It happened again this morning 😞

I wish it was that easy .. keep an eye out if you are using calculated shipping .. its only been occurring on first class listings

It really is that easy.

$2.94 is the rate for an 8 ounce USPS "large envelope" to any Zip.

I'm sticking with that answer unless a screenshot shows differently 🙂

I've only seen this when someone uses envelope instead of package (and I see you said you use package). If you use the little pop up calculate shipping chart, there are two selections that would make it an envelope instead of a package as well, it would be nice if the word "package" was included in the description to be clearer when selecting.
