When I am viewing a listing from a keyword search and I click on the "See Other Items" link, it results in that particular seller's other items but still uses the keyword search. You can't see their other items unless you clear the search box after clicking the link to see the other items. This also happens when you are visiting a sold listing. Please fix this ASAP. Many people wouldn't notice this and clear the search box. This could be a big part of why everyone's sales have dropped so drastically. This is a BUG that needs fixing.

Am I reporting this in the right place? If it's intentional, it appears to be a bug and looks super unprofessional. Either way I would like the right person or people to be notified if they haven't already. I have been developing websites for 15 years and know how easy this is to fix.. So, eBay, what gives?

Could you be more specific, or put in an example ... I don't see what you are writing about.

eBay associates do not comment on this board often, but I do know they read it.

Sure, thank you. If you paste the following into the search bar then click search (This isn't my listing):
Eileen Fisher Silk Lined Fancy Gold Blouse Top Tank Tuck Front Sequins L/XL EUC
then click into the first listing that shows in the results, and from there under Seller Information, click "see other items", you'll see that the search term is still in the search bar, therefore not seeing any of the seller's other items, just the one from the search term.. it seems that when you click that link, you should see all of the seller's items instead.

I would think that what you are experiencing is proper behavior.
Think of it like going to the grocery store looking for cookies ... you find Nabisco Oreos, but it isn't exactly what you want, so you want to see other items.
What do you want to be presented with? Well, logic would dictate that you want to see other Cookies >> Nabisco >> All Cookies ... and so you should see Nutter Butter, Chips Ahoy, etc.
Do you also want to see Camel cigarettes, which is a brand sold by RJR Nabisco? No ... you are searching for cookies.

The link clearly says "See other items" which should return the seller's other items. Please try this other example.
Paste this into the search bar and then filter to show only "sold items":
Lilly Pulitzer Blue Yellow Linen Blend Dress Dragonfly Print Sleeveless Sz 10
Now click to view this sold listing and next to my username is a link to see "Seller's other items". Shouldn't that show you my other items? And I'm pretty sure it always used to before all of the recent updates..

I understand what you are saying ... I'm simply suggesting that this behavior is the way eBay is supposed to operate, and that it is not a software glitch.

I recognise exactly what you describe, and I fully agree with you.
I adressed this issue in another thread, a thread about another issue concerning seeing sellers other items :
Where i wrote this;
Then yesterday, when doing some more testing i discovered another change, linked to this problem:
When I search for (lets say) "vintage Parker pencils", I get tons of search results
I select an item, a Parker pencil
I click "see other items" and see only two Parker pencils, while the seller has 125 other items. ..
It turnes out eBay did another of their very 'smart' (not.), yet 'minor' changes recently:
they keep my "vintage Parker pencils" search imput intact when looking into a sellers other items; i see it in the search bar after clicking "see other items"
Only after i make the search bar empty again, i can see all sellers other items, Parkers pensils etc.
I really hope this IS a bug and it will be fixed.
I am affraid though that eBay made the (wrong) choice to serve the (chinese/asian?) bulk sellers (in a fruitless effort to deal with AliExpress?)
Meanwhile these (yet another of their infamous 'minor') changes will drastically affect the smaller sellers (the sellers that made eBay what it is in the first place) with a number of items between, lets say, 10 and 150
And especially those sellers that sell many different items with a similar background (used clothes, vintage items, antique items etc etc)
In my personal experience (and i expect im not unique in this at all) I often find very interesting items after clicking the sellers 'other items'. And often even more interesting then the item I was looking for.
If this change is not being reversed by eBay its allmost imposible not to have a drastic drop in sales for all 'smaller' sellers worldwide (on all the different eBay sites, as this affects all sites)
So lets hope they do change it back

Interesting. This morning I decided to test the Lilly Pulitzer search term again in Firefox where I am not logged into eBay. This time when I click "Seller's other items" I am actually seeing all of my active listings as it should be. But when I test other search terms and look at other listings, I am still having the same issue as yesterday. Could there be hope that they are working on fixing this? I'd be interested to know what kind of results anyone else has today.

I havent noticed any differences yet, no 'fix' or roll back.
I am one of those minor sellers/buyers (as millions and millions of other eBay users with me) with just a dozen or some dozens of very different and often used items
( https://www.statista.com/statistics/242235/number-of-ebays-total-active-users/ )
Every single one of them is affected by this 'little' yet destructive change.
Over the past few years I have noticed a number of these 'minor' changes with a very high impact, especially to those many millions of hobby sellers. A large number of these changes were rolled back eventually.
Im very irritated by the fact that since this week I have to explain people (who watch one of my items and want to see all of my items) a workaround to do so in my item descriptions. Its absurd.
Im really puzzled by these very high impact little changes ebay implements from time to time.
It makes you think about the level of organisation (or chaos) within the company.
It affects milions of users (sellers mainly) in a negative way, and it must affect sales (thus income for eBay) drastically.
But nevertheless they implement these changes as if it is nothing special. At the expense of all those millions of minor ebay users like you and me.
In my opinion (looking on how it affects me as user with just a few items) this is the worst of those "little" high impact changes sofar.
