There is a promo going on right now which gives you 500 free listings including in Ebaymotors (Parts and Accessories & tools only) But it isn't honoring the free listing at all if listing in parts and accessories and is charging for every listing in that catagory. Anyone got a way to communicate this to the tech support people to fix ASAP so I'm able to list during the free listing promo and for the listings to actually be free??
The promo reference code is: 103352
I've spoken to someone else who is experiencing the same issue and has tried calling into ebay but he hasn't been able to find the right department to report the issue to.
Here is the verbage on parts&accessories catagory:
How do I activate the Promotion?
Sellers that have been invited to participate will automatically receive the Promotion after they activate the Promotion from the invitation email or the Promotion landing page, and then create Qualifying Listings on the US site at www.ebay.com or eBay Motors at www.ebay.com/motors (Parts & Accessories and Automotive Tools & Supplies only) through the Sell Your Item form, eBay Seller Tools, eBay Mobile applications, and most third-party tools. Any listings created prior to the time of activation will not be eligible for the Promotion. For sellers listing with any tool other than the latest version of the Sell Your Item form (SYI 3.0), the Promotional Rate may not be shown during the listing process. Instead, the discount will be reflected in the "Seller Account” section in My eBay, under the Account tab, as well as in your next invoice.

eBay Offers do sometimes have "bugs." But sometimes the issue is that the seller has overlooked some specific term in the offer.
This is a member-to-member board; we do not have a way to look up the offer using the reference code. But if you provide a link to the terms, we'd be glad to look through it. Ever offer has specifics related to duration, format (auction vs fixed price), and other exclusions.

There's been a reoccuring glitch wherein the listing form shows a charge, but in reality there is no charge on the invoice. Check to see if there is actually a charge.........
If there is, call Customer Service........there's a help/contact link at the top of the page..........

Try this: when you list and then see a charge, hold your cursor over said charge and see if a $0.00 pops up. This same "glitch" is often happening when simply Revising an item which is always free, but no actual charges have ever shown up on my invoice just as CS informed me when I called.

Not using it on buying ID only but here it is

Thanks for the link. That's a very broad offer! So the remaining possiblities include: Offer not activated; using an incompatible third-party listing tool; excluded category; and not meeting the minimum seller performance standards.

It's an actual bug. Yes it is charging fees on the invoice. Can be seen on the account page. If you have free listings allotted still it will use those up. The promtion works fine on Ebay but the listings in 'parts & accessories' catalogory on ebay motors - which is allowed in this promotion (and all promotions for at least six years) is where the BUG is. It used to be a bug which used to pop up a lot seven years or so ago and it was easy to talk to tech support directly and the problem would be fixed within 2 hours. From my understanding this probelm has been going on since at least tuesday - but my promotion date just started. It's not related to the 'best offer' style promotion and even if you use best offer it still charges.
I list 30 day fixed. I use relist function in my ebay, I use bulk relist in my ebay, and I try sell similar in my ebay.
Here is a link to the promotion terms as requested:

Anyone able to communicate this inside to ebay tech support?? Ebay seems to be taking the stance that since its effecting only those two allowed motors catagories that they are hoping that those sellers don't notice how many fees are piling up.

Yes I have activated the promotion. It doesn't charge for items on Ebay main site - but will charge for the parts & accessories catagory. Even if it specifically states:
"...Sellers that have been invited to participate will automatically receive the Promotion after they activate the Promotion from the invitation email or the Promotion landing page, and then create Qualifying Listings on the US site at www.ebay.com or eBay Motors at www.ebay.com/motors (Parts & Accessories and Automotive Tools & Supplies only)..."
It is a bug which used to pop up often over seven years ago and a call to tech support would usually fix in two hours but I've spoken with someone who have been trying to contact the department by phone for the last three days with no luck. I think after the fiasco of the 'best offer' on last months promo Ebay is now ignoring attempts to notify them about real bugs. If anyone has any way to communicate within ebay please do. I would like to use this promotion and future promotions as if Ebay doesn't fix the bug it will continue with every promotion going forward.
Thanks you

This just happened to me and a call to Ebay was not helpful. Said they couldn't fix it. I was charged for $10 of fees because I though I was getting 100 free listings. Is this a good trick on their part to collect those **bleep** Good Til Canceled fees? I am very upset about this.
