I bought an ebay gift card and put 100 dollars into it for a friends bday. The clerk said that the card was activated, I give it to my friend and they tell me that the card does not show up on the system. I check the card for them and try to check the balance on it and nothing. says the card doesn't show up in the system. Even if there is an activation delay it was already past 24 hours when my friend tried to use it. Is there a way for me to get my money back from this because It's a totally bummer to just lose the money like that due to system error, let alone the fact it was a gift for someone's bday and they can't even redeem it.
