I am seeking a few items and one of them has an $1100 opening bid requirement. This item shows that there is a bidder and a current bid of $1100. However, I can’t see any other details and didn’t receive any notice that someone had bid on the item.
Is this normal?

If there is one bidder at the opening bid amount, and that bidder is not you, then that bid was submitted before your bid. You would not receive notice of bids prior to your own, as they would already be displayed in the item's bid history at the time of your bid.
What details are you expecting to see that you do not, and what notice did you expect to receive?

If you're asking about the Modwright preamp you are selling, yes it has a bid at the $1,100 starting price.
