The listing I put on tonight are 5 day auctions. They have the Best Offer option below the price just like on the Buy it Now fixed price listings. Is this a bug or something new?
On the seller board there are others with this issue. Anyone here have this on your newer auction listings?

Same issue here. Tried relisting from scratch and it did the same thing again. Tried doing bulk edit to remove it, but that didn't work either. Can anyone from Ebay help? Seems like Ebay only has phone customer service or something when I try to contact them.

This is a new feature. It has created a lot of turmoil already because eBay did not explain it to Sellers or Buyers and many of its own staffers.

Just because one person got this answer from one customer service person doesn't mean it is the correct answer. Someone else posted it showing up on listings starting at a dollar which doesn't make sense if the Ebay CSR answer is correct.

Agreed - although this is difficult to document when the original post has been edited to hide the evidence that the "best offer" is offered on listings with a starting price blow the trending price, which is what was shown before the post was gratuitously edited by a Lithium Mod.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to step in and provide an update on this topic. We have identified an issue where the Best Offer option was incorrectly added to some auction listings that were created between October 8th and 10th. We are actively working on a fix for the impacted listings. We have identified affected sellers and will email them with further instructions. We will be testing this feature with a small number of lower-volume consumer sellers in the coming weeks.

it's new, if Ebay thinks you listed it too high they add it.. it's about cash for ebay... not about what it's really worth and there's no way to stop the annoying offers.... you can contact them on "Ebay for business" on facebook but fat change getting any resolution taking it off, in all the times I have asked for help I have never actually received any help .... nice responses by nice people that seem to have orders that tie their hands...but no actual help.

I guess you didn't notice that you are responding to a thread from October 2017. Here's the Announcement, including instructions for removing it.

no I didn't, I was in a yuckie mood because it just happened to me and I couldn't find out why buyers were bugging me about a lowered price on an auction item. It's never happened before, that's why I thought it was new. completely annoying.... if I wanted to accept offers, I would have checked that box. ergh...
