Away setting on when seller’s setting show off

I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years.

Somehow eBay has an AWAY setting on my account. Buyers get this message when using the BUY IT NOW. Buyer gets the “seller is away” message. I do not have a seller store.  All my listings are BUY IT NOW. Consequently I have had no sales for almost a month.

I have checked my seller settings. The AWAY setting is off. I contacted eBay support 6 different times. All reps gave me a different cure.  None worked. They told me to use a different browser, clear settings, clear history and cache. They put in a technical  ticket. That’s not helping me generate sales.

Should I create a new user name and start listing my items from  scratch? I hate to have 0 feedback on a second account vs the 6,300 positive feedback(100%).

I seemed to recall reading about this on previous post sometime ago. Seller indicated a drastic drop of sales once they returned from vacation and stopped their "AWAY setting" on their account. Numerous responders indicated to go back through their items and revise them, just revise, and then save, even though you did not actually made any changes/revisions to your items.

It was mentioned that this will loosened up the lack of visibility and placed the item as is being a new listing, or something like that. Granted, this sounds easy when you only have a few items listed.

You might try what @titipeo  suggested. To bulk edit a few hundred listings, select all of your active listings and click the edit option. When the bulk editor (BEAR) opens, save the listings.

For thousands of listings, go to the Seller Hub Reports "Upload" page and download a "listing" revision template for "price and quantity". Then upload that revision template without changing anything. That should create a revision for all of your items.

I used BEAR with a handful of older listings. My revision history in my listings showed updates that  dropped PayPal from two listings that predated Managed Payments, and dropped shipping and returns information because the listings had been converted to Business Policies. So, I know "some" listings were revised, but perhaps only if eBay had some internal change.  If eBay had no change, I'm not sure if any changes would have been applied. I had one listing with no mandates, and it shows no revision history, but it might still have unset the time-away flag (which doesn't affect revision history anyway).
