So far I count 37 listings that should have renewed today are missing. I contacted Ebay agent online, and they said they are aware of the issue and working to fix it.
So I manually ended and relisted all of my 200+ remaining listings for today.
Hopefully they are safe for now.
This is not acceptable.
It will take me hours of work to figure out which items are missing and then manually relist them.
eBay had better figure this out because it must have affected thousands or millions of listings.

Hopefully Ebay will remedy this and let us know.

UPDATE: It's now about 8 a.m. Saturday. The many listings that were deleted are now back on my account.
I am glad that they came back, but the fact that they were gone and untraceable for several hours yesterday is disconcerting. I'm not sure if this is how it's designed to work, but auto-renewing of listings should be an instantaneous process. When they are gone for so many hours, it is quite uncomfortable not knowing what the status is, and whether I will have to redo the work manually. This process needs to be streamlined and they should update sellers on the situation and when it is fixed.

This was the explanation posted on the selling board yesterday
Basically the problem is that relists occur on the same date each month. i.e. if listed on 12/30 would be relisted on the 30th of each month.
But Feb is a problem because it only has 28/29 days (leap year)......so all the listings due to be relisted on the 28,29,30,31 days have to be relisted on the 28th........which overloads the system..... They DO get relisted for the proper day, but it takes longer than it normally would........
When something like this happens........I urge you to WAIT a day or 2 to see if it doesn't straighten out.... Will save you alot of time/trouble/angst.
