Nearly every time I try to post a response to a board post, I get an "Authentication Failure" message. I then have to go back to the thread, find the post I was responding to and try again. It's happened enough times now that I EXPECT it to happen and so I copy my text prior to hitting the Post button. I get the failure notice, find the post again and do a quick reply-paste-post, and then it will go through. But why should I have to go through those extra steps? Why doesn't it just post the first time? Annoying! Is this happening to others?

I was just joking there is no way to really know what is in the program and what it will do as it could have viruses or ransomware. I probably should not have included the link.

One of the articles I read talked about to many failed password attempts could be causing a server to drop a user. As this is just the forums I wonder if some hackers are using the log in to community to try a brute force attack to figure out users passwords. Then after so many failed attempts in that user is online in the community when the attack hits the limit of failed attempts is the actual legit user being dropped causing the Authentication Failure notice. Not because the correct user failed to authenticate their log in but some hacking program failed to many times at guessing the password.
