Attempting to reply to buyer message gives "Bad Request"

A customer emailed me about having trouble tracking a package.  I'm trying to respond by clarifying to track it through USPS, and that the USPS tracking system has been down for about 2.5 hours.  When I click to send the message, I get this error.  I've tried multiple times, using Chrome and Firefox.  Sending them a message through their profile and clicking it's not about an item worked.  Please fix this!  Hopefully eBay can look up this code and see what happened.
