Hi, wondering if anyone can help me.
I had a seller purchase and then return an item to me as they changed their mind - which is fine. However, they also opened a case against the item upon returning, and are now asking me to refund their money. I am happy to do this, and it isn't an issue. However, Ebay is telling me that I cannot issue a refund until the case they opened is closed and the item is marked as delivered. How do I do that? Or is it something the buyer needs to do?
It's been two weeks with an open case and I am not able to move forward with it, and the buyer keeps messaging about their refund.

Did they open a Payment Dispute? If so you would have to respond to the Dispute.
