After sending an offer to a watcher I am not able to respond to their counteroffer.

After sending an offer to a watcher, I received a counteroffer. On the app, I have the counteroffer notification but when I try to respond I get an "oops something went wrong" error message. On the website, the counteroffer is not even there in my notifications.

On the website @2223 , find the listing on your seller hub active listings page then select "manage offers" - what does that page show?

I'm thinking maybe the buyer retracted their offer?

They didn't retract, ebay customer service told me that it was a glitch that was first reported 2 days ago.

I just went to my messages and pulled up the ebay message and accepted it that way. It then showed accepted and waiting for payment. Hopefully the buyer received it on their end.

Yeah, the offer erroring out issue has been going on almost everyday for going on 4 months now and still not fixed. There was an open ticket about it but not sure when it will ever be fixed.

The ebay customer service rep told me she would add me to the "ticket".  Luckily the sale did go through by me going into messages and accepting the counteroffer that way. I've also experienced an issue for several months now like you were saying. Either the app or website, or both, glitch with an error message when I try to send offers to watchers. This morning, I got a cancellation request notification on an item before I even got the notification that the item sold. Lol
