Advanced search for items by seller

Search not working, form changes but will not allow seller ID.  Seems to only take an item name.  Been broken for days.

On the Advanced search form, the special section to search for a specific seler is near the bottom of the form.

Nowhere near as informative as former advanced search for "seller." For example, this "new" seller search near the bottom of the form does not let you see seller's auctions closed within last 15 days and does not link to sellers who may not have any items posted right now. All this used to be available via seller search. Another eBay changes that makes things worse.

I just want EVERYONE on Ebay to know that this is not a "glitch"...the Advanced Search "Search by Seller"  function is DISABLED by EBAY. It will never work the same way again. I have spent all morning on the phone with Evay  and they just keep saying that the function is "no longer available".  WHY??? Just to make it so much "easier" for everyone??? I can not search for a seller I like, OR for MYSELF as I used to. I can not search for one of my thousands of books without looking through a list of a thousand books to find the one that I need to revise. I think all Ebay users should RISE UP and COMPLAIN about this ridiculous new proviso from Ebay. DEMAND that it be put back the way it was. This is just time wasting and of no help anyone. This will cost Ebay $$$$ and Sellers $$$$ as well.  It was not broken before, why "fix" it? Ebay has really gone overboard this time and I can't figure out WHY. It makes everything so much harder. How is this
HELPING anyone? I don't get it...I've spent the whole day so far doing this, and now I'm on to something else. SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!!

I haven't done any testing to make sure the results are complete, but I put in the names of a couple of big sellers and got results that looked reasonable.

I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with Ebay. What a joke! This has gotten out of control. I have a buyer who wants to view my listings to make another purchase from me and cannot see any listings under my username. It comes back as 0 items listed when you enter my eBay username into the advance search window. When she has tried searching for items in my store, those have all disappeared as well. I have 155 active listings currently but no one can find them when searched for by username or by store name. When searched by username it says 0 listings available but it says 1 store matching and gives my store name and a link. Well there are only 3 items listed in my store and those are the 3 new listings I posted this morning after this “update” had occurred yesterday. 

The worse part is Ebay has no idea how to fix this and will bounce you around their company department, the country,  & even bounce your call around the world... just to be left in the same exact place stuck on hold with some idiot who has no idea what your really trying to have them report or escalate let alone how to fix the issue. It’s really sad but I see why other selling platforms are becoming so popular. Maybe I will try one of them since Ebay doesn’t seem to care or even pretend to care about it’s members anymore.

Is this in a browser or app?  I just tried it again in Chrome and it worked fine on the advanced screen with a specific seller.

Checking the "sold" box worked correctly as well.

Same here. Shame if they have removed this feature. Makes no sense.

We're not referring to this but to search for seller's/member's page, not for his listed items. It's completely different.

I think it was based on an old search I had bookmarked -- I just substituted the name of the original poster.

The Advanced Search by Seller seems to be working for me, and producing links similar to the one I posted:

Lately, when I want to search a seller's listings I start from their feedback page and follow the "View items for sale" link, which produces a searchable list.

Fantastic! I use the seller ID to track "competitor" user ID's ... I can identify my competition by their ebay rating number. It sounds creepy, but by being able to track any Ebay User ID (I use this to track BUYERS not Sellers), I know who won the auction I just bid on. For months, I have been unable to track Ebay ID's, but now I can! Thank you so much!
