I noticed yesterday that I was receiving emails for saved searches that were nationwide and not limited as specified in the advanced search menu. Again today I received notification of items from nationwide sellers and confirmed by a new manual search that the advanced option to select within 50 miles was not working. Anyone else? How do you shake the eBay tree?

Bugs happen. Sometimes a fix for one feature causes another to break. The fact that the change has not been undone despite eBay being aware of the problem would seem to indicate that the fix is not as simple as reverting to previous code. It is not always possible to know how long a particular fix will take and provide a time table.

Rather than deleting your saved searches, perhaps you should temporarily unsubscribe from email notices for those limit searches. Then you can resubscribe when the feature is working again, rather than having to entirely recreate those saved searches from scratch.

I am having the same problem. US Zip Codes 60630 and 60634 return global results. It happens with saved searches and the on-site search as well.

The problem isn't limited to saved searches.

Thank you, I am well aware of the limitations of Software Engineering and indeed how to pause emails in saved searches, albeit last time this issue happened the search had to be deleted and remade to function. The issue here is apalling customer service - Software not tested properly. Problem not acknowledged. No indication it is being addressed. No estimated time frame for resolution.

Hello @uk-artist-hfb @warriors-87 @switchgearsurplus and @amsatbox! I filed a ticket for this earlier but it doesn't appear to be a site wide issue as I am not running into issues anymore and it sounds like @eburtonlab isn't either. I also tried @cmiyc's two zip codes and both searches worked correctly for me.

I'd be happy to add you five to the ticket though, if you'll each follow-up with a screen shot of your failed search. It needs to show the mileage you selected and how it's not providing you with accurate results. I know this is something the tech team is requesting be added with each report. Thanks!

Thank you for the follow up Velvet. My issues were finally resolved earlier this week. My saved searches as well as regular searches are now showing only the listings which fit the range filter selected. I will be sure to reply if I notice any other issues though. Thank you.

I am in Nairobi, Kenya and found out that the item location filter is not working. I always buy items from the UK. Is this a deliberate setting by eBay to do away with it? Has eBay made any comment? It is greatly inconvenient
