Yeah I'm not sure how exactly it works. It doesn't effect everyone but I know that 7 of my saved sellers are completely blanked out for me, and so I assume I am also blanked out for them. Going through my feedback and leaving it for buyers I have also just started having buyers, who just bought from me a week ago, blanked out to where I cannot see them. The thing is I really don't know why its occurring with certain users and not others, as some buyers are still functioning normally.
I spent another hour in chat with an ebay representative to which they thanked me for being a loyal ebay member, listened as I relisted this whole spiel for the 8th time. Said there was a ticket filed in my name and I'll have to be patient. Six weeks is a long time to be patient when your sales are taking a hit but unfortunately every time I contact them they just shrug it off and say they understand my frustration but have no idea when they will get around to fixing it. My impressions and sales are all down about 25% in the past 6 weeks across the board. New listings seem to be the most heavily effected whereas some older listings seem to be almost functioning at normal capacity.
Part of me is starting to think this is all engineered by ebay to get people to throw more money into promoted listings, though my impressions are even down on those in most places as well. Guess I'll keep playing the cross my fingers and wait game. About all we can do at this point I suppose.
