Account was Restricted but I am unaware of the reason.

Hi, I’m a new seller on eBay. I recently made my first sale — a pair of AirPods 4. I shipped the item promptly and the buyer has received it without any issues.

Shortly after the delivery, I received an email saying my account was restricted from both buying and selling. I was not given any reason, and every attempt to contact support has led to vague or copy-paste responses telling me to “Contact Us,” which just loops back to the same page.

I’ve already tried calling support, but I wasn’t given any helpful information. I’ve followed all policies, and the item I sold was 100% genuine.

All I want is a fair review of my account so I can continue selling properly. Please help me escalate this to someone who can actually look into my account and explain why it was restricted.

This is the US (.com) boards.

 

The UK has different requirements sometimes so you may want to post on your home site.

 

The email usually says why you are restricted. Sometimes it is vague, but it does give a reason.

 

There is no one here who can escalate your request.
