I have recently gone to purchase an item and the seller has informed me that I show as being in China.
My account was registered in 2004 and has never been changed to China by myself. All of the shipping addresses, delivery addresses etc.. are correct and show the UK, however the registered address has the correct street, city, but now shows a Chinese province and postcode! Not sure when this has changed and cannot find any notification in emails or messages alerting me of any changes. There are no other signs of the account being hacked. However does now explain why in my last couple of purchases I have been asked for choice of currency at checkout. I now however cannot edit the registered address back the UK. I have been going around in circles with the chat and phone help. It would appear that it was easy to change the account to China, but not simple to change it back.
