I am trying to accept a buyer's offer on an item. Unfortunately, when I click the "accept offer" button, the page simply blinks. Link doesn't work at all.

I am seeing the same thing. It does not work on the web site. However, it is working on the mobile app.

Has anyone at Ebay looked into this and when will it be fixed?

And here we are a year later, 9-14-2023, and the "accept offer" button still does not work on a computer. You would think a major issue like this would be fixed within hours, not years!

What page are you using? Try an alternative page to accept the offer.
Or try a private or incognito browser window. Or an alternative browser.
I do not think most sellers have been experiencing this problem continuously for a year; it may be a temporary glitch or perhaps an isolated issue with a particular browser configuration.
Most My eBay pages have a "Tell us what you think" link to report issues with page features directly to eBay developers -- that might worth a try. Otherwise go through Help & Contact to request a call back and report it and see if you can get a service ticket opened if there is not already one for this issue.

Ebay doesn't care and it keeps getting worse. Yesterday I was sent an offer and accepted it. Instead eBay just sent an offer to the buyer. I accepted their offer and item should have ended/sold that moment. So sick of their mistakes. Spent hours on the phone the last few months. They mess up everything and just don't seem to even care about customer service at all.

Lately eBay has been experimenting with ways to prevent unpaid items.
In some cases, if a seller accepts an offer from a buyer the seller's account apparently generates an automatic counteroffer for the same amount. The buyer must then complete payment to finalize the transaction, otherwise the item remains listed and available for others to purchase, rather than ending and potentially being canceled as unpaid four days later.

2024 and we have buyers(who are mostly sellers so they are not making errors) who cannot accept offers.

I sell a little bit on eBay and I just found a solution! When you are on the page where it won't accept your offer, delete your browsing history to kick you off of the site. When you log back in from that window it will immediately drop you on a different page where the buttons actually work! I just accepted the 3 offers I couldn't accept this week! Happy hunting!
