The "we looked everywhere...." error has nothing to do with what the
user is doing. It is caused by Ebay favoring mobile traffic, to build
that segment of their market. The only way they can handle the added
traffic is to shut down the desktop users....
And even then, you may just get a couple minutes in before it errors out
again. It is definitely an Ebay problem and not a user problem. Almost
as if they have reached the limit of the traffic they can handle.

intermittent problem for users. It is not caused by something the user
is doing, it is Ebay being unable to service you at that time. It comes
and goes on it's own and can occur...
