Ordered an under EBay $30.00 item and verified my PayPal billing and ship to addresses were correct. When the package didn’t arrive, I contacted the merchant who had shipped it to the wrong address…he didn’t have my billing address at all and my ship to had the wrong address and zip. I found the e-commerce alert about EBay programming error and notified the EBay merchant. He nicely told me to take my complaint to PayPal and that he was sure they would take care of me. I could not reach PayPal directly but the system asked me to file a PayPal dispute form due to non-receipt, wrong address. I also additionally added the url regarding this shipping address programming error. After filling out the form, EBay updated it that the case was closed due to my dispute. PayPal has since updated the transaction with a package delivered status and did not reimburse me. So EBay and PayPal, although they are aware of the problem, is leaving me the buyer to suffer the financial loss. I should probably not do business with PayPal or EBay ever again.
