I recently enabled 2 Step verification for my eBay account. I opted for a OTP code to be sent to my mobile phone instead of downloading the app. It worked the initial time I set it up. I Received a code and everything is good. However, I am very conscious of removing cookies from my browser as they contain trackers. When I deleted my browser cache it had an unusual affect. The next time I tried logging into my eBay account the I didn't get a text message with a one time code. It was back at the original page asking if I want to enable 2 Step verification. I went to my account to look at my sign in and security settings. It says it is enabled, yet even when I didn't clear my cache the next time it still asks me if I want to set up 2 step verification.
