keeping this Group Alive

I haven't been active in this group in a long time.  But, I did get an email today saying this group would close due to no activity in the last 60 days.  I don't have much to say, but would like to keep the group alive.  If nothing else, looking back at a lot of the posts is still useful and interesting to me.  Thank you to all present and former group members.

How very kind of you. I should tell everyone that I have had the Oasis Restaurant in Hickory NC on my watch list since 2000 and not one email. So please, don't look too hard.

I will certainly let everyone know should I ever find the card.

Thanks again McDonnell. You are very kind.

I appreciate your thoughtful reply.  I bought some dollar cards recently, a bunch from one vendor, so he made his money on bulk.  I also suspect some of these 'sellers' who operate ebay postcard museums are doing so simply so they can promote their "ebay store with x-thousand listings" - of course nothing ever sells, but it could seem to be impressive.  There is just too much dumb stuff here that wouldn't sell in 25 cent box - for example, I was searching for coal breakers, but when I searched for breakers, 100's of postcards of  waves showed up, punctuated by a few coal breakers.  Any market for antique postcards of waves has to be very limited. I think people are just throwing stuff at the wall to see how what sticks.
