I have a VERY MAJOR bank here on the East coast as my bank... and yet Ebay cannot verify it?
**bleep** ebay???? I gave you my routing and account information!!!! you even acknowledged the friggin bank name!!!
is it because it wasn't on your list of preferred banks? well I could give a rats ass what is on your preferred list of banks, this is my bank!!! and it's also the bank for millions of others of people too...
now will you PLEASE stop trying to be a bank your selves and get back to letting us sell our stuff and leave the payment processing to those that actually know **bleep** they are doing???? PLEASE!!!!!!

I added my middle initial in the 'first name' space (on ebay).. with a 'space' between first name and middle initial. No periods.
Yes, they do NOT make this easy.

yah, I just did the same thing... I screenshotted my bank invoice, blanked out my funds, and sent that to them in pdf format...
if they demand a voided check, I'm done with them... I do not have checks, nor do I want checks, nor will I order checks just to send ebay a voided check...
I'll have to see.... again, all this for something I do not want in the first place is rediculous....
thanks for the help though! 😉

got a message back from Ebay stating they accepted my bank information and I'm now ready to be in MP...
oh joy of joys, my life is now complete all mighty Ebay, you now have control over my money.... I bow to thee...

That's how I felt; now you can gracefully wait a week for your money from each sale and go through the pain, er, uh, fun of figuring out how to do bookkeeping all over again. Woopee!

corvettestainless does the buyer need to "receive" the item before the money is transferred to your account? Just wondered what would happen if a package is lost in the mail, the buyer does not receive the item, the seller has to file a claim with the post office regarding a lost package. Would that hold up the money being deposited in the seller's account?

The answer is no.

I too would have to get a box of checks I don't use. The ones I have, a digit was dropped out of the account number years ago, I can still use them, but would not match up with current number.
