what is SECURE IMPORT?

Hello. I have an order that was sent by ebay services and I received a bill by mail from SECURE IMPORT. Should I take this email into account? is it real or a scam? I can't find accurate information on the internet.

I did not know there was something called eBay Services that sends mail.

Sounds like a scam to me.

I had a look with Google and there is a Secure Import Services in Miami, looked like a freight forwarder???

Hi, I'm having the same problem, I received an email from secure import asking me to pay the taxes, but I don't know if it is a scam, it looks suspicious to me, but why do they have ALL my data? The setails of the item I'm buying, my adress, what I paid for it...

What did you do? Is it real or a scam?

Did you use a freight forward system in the US: if so this may be real.

Secure Imports is a legit company that works with Ebay's Standard International shipping.
I have a customer in Mexico who has, for months now, had a package stuck with Secure Imports in Miami.
I believe that Customs may not have been collected by Ebay when they ordered the item, it usually is upon purchase or when item comes to local shipping center.
Customer has said they were never contacted but the customer also seems a little... lazy. 😅 Letting out the frustration lol

Anyways I'd say send Secure Imports their payment if you are expecting an imported item. I do not believe it is a scam letter. They are a legitimate importer/exporter that works with Ebay.

I'm attaching a translated Ebay message (Spanish to English) that my customer received from Ebay support. I've blocked out only names and tracking numbers.

Well who knew? It would be nice if eBay would give a heads up about that instead of letting us guess.

They are rude and never reply to emails. I bought an item which costs 50 USD which is free of taxes and they want me to pay 13 dollars customs to send it to Mexico. And I agree with all of you our data shouldnt be shared!
