unpaid and unresponsive

Why doesn't eBay allow negative feedback for unpaid and unresponsive buyers? It doesn't seem right!

Re: unpaid and unresponsive

After 96 hours you can open item not paid. The buyer get a strike, 2 of those in 12 months, they can't buy from most sellers. Use the tools eBay gives sellers, it helps everyone.

Any invoices you send resets the payment clock. eBay sends them plenty of reminders.

Re: unpaid and unresponsive

You can cancel the transaction citing buyer didn’t pay. The buyer will get an unpaid item strike and you will be credited your FVFs .

eBay decided in 2008 to stop allowing negative and neutral feedback to buyers.

Re: unpaid and unresponsive

It makes the buyers unhappy.

List as fixed price / buy it now set to require payment right away.  No sale is made until the buyer pays.  Many buyers want it right away and don't like waiting for auctions to end anyway.
